In this post, I’m going to introduce you to something I call the Phoenix Phases — a simple, soulful way to understand where you are right now emotionally, energetically, and spiritually.

These phases are part of the Phoenix Process™, my framework inspired by Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Five Elements, and the natural rhythms of nature. Each one carries its own energy, wisdom, and invitation.

And here’s the best part:
You don’t have to “fix” yourself.
You just get to understand yourself.

What Are the Phoenix Phases?

If you’ve ever tried to “get your life together” using a color-coded planner and a brand-new set of pens… only to forget about it by Wednesday — you already know this:

Real change doesn’t happen in a straight line.

It happens in seasons. In waves. In spirals.

The Phoenix Phases reflect this natural rhythm. They mirror both what’s happening inside you and what’s unfolding around you.

Here they are:

  • Root — Winter / Water / Deep Reflection

  • Release — Autumn / Metal / Letting Go

  • Radiate — Summer / Fire / Expression

  • Recenter — Late Summer / Earth / Integration

  • Rise — Spring / Wood / Bold Growth

Each phase comes with its own lessons, emotions, and momentum. There is no “better” or “worse” one — just the one that’s calling to you right now.


You’re Not Always in the Same Phase

Here’s the truth no one really talks about:

You don’t always start in Root.
You don’t live forever in Radiate.
And you might be in Release in your career while feeling beautifully Recentered in your relationships.

This process isn’t a checklist.
It’s a spiral.

You revisit phases, but each time with more awareness, more compassion, and more self-trust.
